From years of experience in supplying cable assemblies to truck manufacturers, Clark Brothers has assembled the most complete line of speedometer and tachometer cables available in the heavy truck aftermarket. This program offers a total of 68 part numbers which cover approximately 1000 OEM applications! Included are Ford, Freightliner, Kenworth, Mack, Navistar, PACCAR, Peterbilt, Volvo-GM and Western Star.
CA-Series Heavy Duty Truck Speedometer & Tachometer Cable Assemblies
Cable assemblies in the CA series are designed for use in Heavy Truck applications. They are built to the same standards as those supplied by Clark Brothers to OEM truck manufactures using .420" diameter dual-plastic casing and .150"diameter LHL inner core wire. Each cable has a .104" square tip and a 5/8"-18 2B nut and ferrule combination at the instrument end, and a 7/8"-18 2B nut and compensating ferrule at the lower end. Included are the five most popular compensating tips: JB-32, JB-33, JB-34, JB-35, and JB-38.
The customer simply selects the tip that matches his application, and snaps it into the
lower ferrule. (Other tips are available. See pages 46 & 47 of Catalog # MC794.) Each cable has been factory lubricated. |

CX-Series Heavy Duty Truck Speedometer & Tachometer Cable Assemblies
Extension cable assemblies in the CX series are designed for use in Heavy Truck applications.
They are built to the same standards as those supplied by Clark Brothers to OEM truck manufacturers using .420" diameter dual-plastic casing and .150" diameter LHL inner core wire. Each cable has a 7/8"-18 2A externally threaded ferrule at the upper end, and a 7/8"-18 2B nut and compensating ferrule at the lower end. Included are the five most popular compensating tips: JB-32, JB-33, JB-34, JB-35, and JB-38. The customer simply selects the tip that matches his application, and snaps it into the lower ferrule. (Other tips are available. See pages 46 & 47 of Catalog # MC794.)
Each casing has been factory lubricated. The inner core wire is not inserted into the casing until the final assembly by the customer. It has been pre-squared to .124" on one end. To the other end, the customer attaches the upper tip selected for his application from the three provided: JB-53, J-191, & J-213. An SD-1 swaging tool is included to facilitate attaching this tip along with a clear concise instruction sheet. |
